There’s a new national report out, grading all 50 states on their efforts to combat one of the nation’s biggest killers: tobacco.

 

California flunked the test.

 

It’s gotten so bad that the experts at UCSF are forecasting the numbers of California smokers will increase, costing more money and taking more lives.

 

The CCRA will triple funding for the state’s tobacco prevention program: saving a projected 228,000 Californian kids from getting hooked on the deadly habit.
